Getting Started

How it works

Answertree helps your team complete bid documents faster and better by leveraging your best content and providing the tools you need to collaborate effectively. To understand how it works, we'll introduce two simple ideas:

  1. Knowledge Base: This is where your organisation's content is stored, ready to help answer questions

  2. Projects: When you import an RFP, Security Questionnaire or other tender document into the system, we'll convert it to a 'Project'. Each question is turned into a 'Ticket' that can be assigned and reviewed before the completed document is exported again for submission

✨ Once a project is created, Answertree will automatically suggest answers from your Knowledge base to speed things up.

🔄 As projects are completed, your Knowledge Base will grow and improve in quality, so the whole process will continually improve.

Before you Start

Before you get started on your first bid document, we recommend that you seed your Knowledge Base with content. You can import any of the following:

  1. Previously completed bid documents

  2. Marketing and Technical documentation

  3. Tables of Q&As (Question & Answers)

  4. All content from your existing solution (if you use one)

We'll help you decide how to seed your Knowledge Base in the Knowledge Base Set-up Guide.

Next Steps

Head over to the Knowledge Base (select Knowledge Base from the main menu) and follow the help from there, or click below to read the Knowledge Base set-up Guide directly.
